Michelle Weinhold

Michelle Hutchins Weinhold is an Assistant Counsel for Parent Representation at ILS. Prior to joining ILS, Michelle was a Staff Attorney at The Legal Project and had worked at the civil legal services organization for over eight years. As a Staff Attorney, Michelle represented individuals experiencing domestic violence in Family Court proceedings and divorce actions. She also has experience defending homeowners facing foreclosure as well as in general New York civil and criminal practice. Prior to being admitted to the New York State Bar in 2019, Michelle served as an Excelsior Service Fellow for the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and a volunteer for the Sexual Assault and Crime Victims Assistance Program of Rensselaer County. Michelle earned her J.D. from Albany Law School in 2018 and her B.A. from Russell Sage College in 2013.
