Mandy Jaramillo

Mandy Jaramillo is a Supervising Appellate Attorney at the ILS Statewide Appellate Support Center. Prior to joining ILS, Mandy worked at the Office of the Appellate Defender as a Supervising Attorney and the Director of Reinvestigation and as a Senior Staff Attorney, where she specialized in post-conviction CPL 440 litigation and direct appeals. She spent several years as Investigations Attorney at the Innocence Project. Before working as a wrongful conviction attorney, Mandy represented parents at the Center for Family Representation defending them against abuse and neglect allegations in Family Court. She obtained a B.A. with honors at the University of Chicago and a J.D. cum laude from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
