Bethany Simpson

Bethany joined ILS in August 2023 as the Data Outreach Officer. She earned her dual B.A. in Criminal Justice and Psychology in December 2018 from SUNY Albany, then her graduate certificate from Boston University for Criminal Intelligence Analysis in May 2021. Prior to joining ILS, Bethany worked with the Albany County District Attorney’s Office both as an administrative liaison/legal assistant, and intern with the Crime Victim Unit. Bethany’s passions lie within data analysis and criminal law research and she is excited to join the ILS Research Team.
